Caitlin has spent the greater part of her career finding new ways to use creativity for good. Early on, she dedicated her time promoting and coaching local musicians and artists as a writer, band manager and event producer. Witnessing local music’s impact on community and economic development inspired her to join
ArtWorks as their Creative Enterprise Manager where she managed their business development program for creative entrepreneurs. She also ran Second Sunday on Main, a grassroots street festival in her neighborhood of Over-the-Rhine.
With a natural curiosity and a love of people, Design Impact’s focus on research and storytelling felt like a natural fit. In addition to working on community development projects, Caitlin also leads DI’s communications efforts. She has presented at the Americans for the Arts Convention, Ohio Hunger Dialogues, and the
Ohio FSFB Summit, and through written pieces for
ArtPlace.
Caitlin graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music with a BFA in Electronic Media and a Certificate of Journalism.
